FAQ’s:

  • Q: If we plan to remain in the classes assigned to my student based on class recommendations in April, do I need to do anything?
  • A: Nothing is required unless the assigned classes do not work for your schedule and you need an alternative day and time for your dancer. All returning dancers will be guaranteed a spot in their recommended classes prior to open enrollment at the time Annual Membership Cost is collected (May 1st)
  • Q: Is the tuition rate the same each month even though some months include holidays?
  • A: Studio costs for each enrollment are added together and divided by 12 months for equal monthly installment payments. The dance year calendar allows for an average of 4 weekly classes or free enrichment events each month although some specific months include more or less than this average. Free enrichment events may vary from year-to-year, but include events such as Costume Carnival, Free Parents’ Night Out, Movie Nightetc. There are 45 scheduled weekly classes with an additional 3 to 5 optional enrichment events each year.
  • Q: What do I do if my dancer misses a scheduled weekly class?
  • A: If possible, please text the studio at 469-202-4581 if your student will not make it to their scheduled class. This way instructors can adjust lesson plans if multiple students will be absent, and make the best use of class time. Students are more than welcome to make advance arrangements for a make-up class if desired.
  • Q: My dancer is returning to her previous class(es) following recital, but is also interested in trying some new options. What do I need to do?
  • A: Dancers are always encouraged to complement their training with new genres. Please contact the studio to discuss options for your dancer (Email: registration@3-Ddance.com / Text: (469) 202-4581) You can view available classes online here: https://3-ddance.com/choose-a-class/
  • Q: Do you have special Summer programs?
  • A: We do! Although our weekly and evening class schedule remains the same year round, we do offer Wacky Wednesday one-day camps in June and July, as well as guest instructor and enrichment event opportunities. Click here to sign up for our Summer One Day Camps.
  • Q: My child is very passionate about dance and wants to be more involved. How do I learn more about Performing Company?
  • A: Performing Company allows for significant growth and exposure to dance experiences that go beyond studio classes and performances. Scheduling a dancer pathway meeting is a great way to determine what opportunities fit your child’s needs and goals within the studio. In addition, there is a Parent Information Meeting held each year prior to May auditions to learn more about the specific Performing Company details for the upcoming season. This blog post and video provides additional background regarding Performing Company: https://3-ddance.com/is-performing-company-right-for-my-dancer-2/
  • Q: My child is currently on the performing company and will be re-auditioning in May. How does this affect my child if he/she is chosen for a different performing company group?
  • A: Returning performing company dancers will begin their new weekly class and rehearsal schedule in June.
  • Q: My child is currently enrolled in the Creative Arts Preschool Program, but will start kindergarten in August. When is CAPP graduation held?
  • A: We always hold a CAPP graduation ceremony at recital, however you should plan to attend CAPP through the end of July, as we focus on a pre-kindergarten curriculum in June and July. Incoming kindergarteners who are not currently enrolled in CAPP can also attend pre-kindergarten in June and July. Students entering kindergarten will transition to their new weekly dance and tumbling classes in August. CAPP students who are not yet entering kindergarten will remain enrolled in CAPP year round.
