Classes for Discovery Dancers:

Ballet
Ages 2 and up
Our youngest ballet classes allows children to successfully engage in class by introducing fundamental dance and music concepts in an environment that capitalizes on their natural energy and imagination. Acrobatic Arts
Ages 3 and up
Our Acrobatic Arts Curriculum at this age teaches 5 foundational pillars: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling. Foundational pillars are utilized to execute skills such as handstand, bridge, forward roll, backward roll, pre-cartwheel, jumps and balance beam. Click HERE to take a trial class.

Hip Hop
Ages 3 and up
Kids love our Hip Hop classes because they are high energy and fun! Parents love our hip hop classes because the music, movement and costuming are family friendly! Our Hip Hop Curriculum at this age teaches students to differentiate different hemispheres of the body, shift weight in multiple directions, understand musical concepts (beat, rhythm, tempo), and demonstrate musicality in movement. Tap
Ages 3 and up
This class is absolutely perfect for first-time tappers. Our curriculum at this age teaches students to use their feet to create rhythm and syncopation by differentiating ways to create a variety of sounds using the toe tap and heel tap on their tap shoes. Click HERE to take a trial class.

Jazz
Ages 4 and up
Our Jazz Curriculum at this age introduces the concepts of body placement, space, level, size, direction, pathways, speed, energy, and performance. Hamstring flexibility, hip mobility and balance will emerge and students will understand weight shifts, direction changes and dynamics of movement. Click HERE to take a trial class.

Lyrical
Ages 6 and up
Our Lyrical curriculum teaches students to connect to the music and use their body as an instrument of non-verbal communication, relying heavily on lyric and mood cues in the music while reinforcing dance concepts of body placement, space, level, size, direction, pathways, speed, energy, and performance. Classes for Developmental Dancers:

Ballet
Ages 7 and up
Our Ballet Curriculum at this age teaches dancers to layer multiple dance concepts including body placement, space, level, size, direction, pathways, speed, energy, and performance. Dancers focus on more intricate details in the movement, while expanding proficiency to include more complex movement structures. Acrobatic Arts
Ages 7 and up
Our Acrobatic Arts Curriculum at this age teaches 5 foundational pillars: flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling. Hip Hop
Ages 7 and up
Kids love our Hip Hop classes because they are high energy and fun! Parents love our hip hop classes because the music, movement and costuming are family friendly! Our Hip Hop Curriculum teaches students to combine hip hop fundamentals (Bounce, Groove, Rock, Slide, Boogaloo, Popping, Tutting, Footwork, Glides and Locking) with Transitions, Spatial Awareness, Lines, and Musicality in a the style of commercial hip hop dance, while having fun! Tap
Ages 7 and up
Our tap curriculum at this age teaches students to build upon rhythmic proficiency and syncopation by differentiating ways to create a variety of sounds using the toe tap and heel tap on their tap shoes. Jazz
Ages 7 and up
Our Jazz Curriculum at this age teaches dancers to layer the concepts of body placement, space, level, size, direction, pathways, speed, energy, and performance. Lyrical
Ages 7 and up

Boys Hip Hop
Ages 7 and up
Guys will love this BOYS ONLY class where they'll burn energy learning street style hip hop technique, choreography, and tricks! Parents love our hip hop classes because the music, movement and costuming are family friendly! Click HERE to take a trial class.

Pre-Pointe
Ages 10 and up
Pointe/pre-pointe students must have a minimum 2 years of recent ballet training, attend a minimum of 2 weekly ballet classes, pass a classroom screening test and receive clearance from their doctor to begin pointe work. When the student is ready to begin pointe work, the parent, student, teacher and/or director will attend a professional pointe shoe fitting together. The parent, student and teacher will sign a detailed agreement outlining the commitment expectations and progress plan before the student’s first class en pointe.

Classes for Dedicated Dancers:

Ballet
Ages 13 and up

Dancers learn to layer 3-5 dance concepts including body placement, space, level, size, direction, pathways, speed, energy, and performance. Acrobatic Arts
Ages 13 and up

Our Contemporary curriculum teaches stylistic interpretive dance that embraces blending techniques from various genres, including classical ballet, jazz, modern dance, and lyrical dance. Pointe
Ages 13 and up

National Honor Society for Dance Arts
Grades 7-12
NHSDA Honor Students are inducted annually and can earn points in order to graduate with NHSDA honors. Points are earned by one’s ability to motivate others, offer thoughtful solutions, exercise judicious behavior in communications, do team-building, offer creative paths to new directions, encourage others to lead, and develop tangible personal and professional responsibilities to dance (as an interest, profession, or life-long learning experience) at local, state and national levels.

Teen Leadership Program
Grades 9-12
The purpose of the Teen Leadership Program at 3-D Dance is to provide structured training through various components of dance instruction, while developing the following core competencies: Professionalism, Communication, Servant Leadership, Problem Solving, Proactiveness, Establishing, maintaining, and nurturing meaningful relationships.

Choreography Class
Ages 13 and up
Our Choreography Class Curriculum teaches students the use of stage, direction, levels, place, body placement, energy, shape, variations in rhythm, dynamics, formations, floor patterns, musical patterns, theme or motif, entertainment value, storytelling value. The class concludes with each student performing a self-choreographed solo and group dance.
