Aminah Alvarez is a native of Dallas, Texas. She received a BFA in Dance and a BS in Exercise Science with a Specialization in Athletic Health Care at The University of Texas at Austin. She is an alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Aminah performed as a company member with Dallas Black Dance Theater, and has performed multiple summers in the Mary Kay Cosmetics Annual Summer Seminar. Aminah has professional credits with The Dallas Opera’s production of Carmen and Hansel and Gretel. You can find her in multiple commercials, notably NBC5 Winter Olympics Texas Connects Us. Aminah is a founding company dancer of contemporary modern dance company, B. MOORE DANCE, and is currently is on faculty with The Joffrey Ballet School’s Texas Training Program.
