The Broadway Program at 3-D Dance is where young performers explore and ignite a passion for musical theater, with opportunities to shine on stage all year long!

🏰 Dive into the enchanting world of Arendelle at our 5-day Frozen Kids Summer Camp, where your child will embark on an unforgettable journey of music, magic, and friendship! 🎶

July 15th to July 19th

8:30 am to 3:00 pm

Performance July 20th, 1:00 pm

Young performers will immerse themselves in a whirlwind of fun-filled activities, including acting, singing, dancing, and set building, inspired by the beloved Disney classic, Frozen!

🎭 Casting for our spectacular performance of A Frozen Adventure will be complete by the end of day on Monday, and every camper will have their chance to shine on stage! ⭐️

Mark your calendars for the grand finale on Saturday, July 20th, when our campers will dazzle audiences with their magical 30-minute performance of A Frozen Adventure! Don't miss the chance to witness their talents sparkle like freshly fallen snow! ❄️✨

Camp cost is $295 with no additional performance fees or ticketing fees!

Meet the Broadway Program Directors

Lisa Custer

Director

Lisa Custer is the Technical Theater Director at Frisco High School, where she had the honor of directing the first ever first ever high school production of the full-length Frozen the Broadway Musical in 2023. She earned her Theatre degree and teacher certification from University of Texas in Austin and a Communication Studies Degree from University of North Texas. Lisa LOVES to teach and theater is her favorite vehicle. She is a major sports fan (Dallas teams are her jam) and when she can, she reads, plays golf and (most importantly) travels! She hosts trips all over the world every summer and loves to see theater everywhere she goes.

Ethan Simpson

Asst. Director

Ethan Simpson served as Improv Team Captain and Publicist for Frisco High School Theatre. He is also is a professional commercial/TV/film actor appearing in multiple commercials, short films and print ads. He is a 2024 Broadway Dallas Musical Theater Award Nominee. Ethan has had the honor of performing in many productions with FHS Theatre in the roles of The Duke of Weselton in Frozen the Broadway Musical, Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby and Randle McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. He has been a student at 3-D Dance since age 3 and now serves as a classroom assistant. He will be attending the University of North Texas and performing in local community theater productions.

Aminah Alvarez

Dance Director

Aminah Alvarez is a native of Dallas, Texas. She received a BFA in Dance and a BS in Exercise Science with a Specialization in Athletic Health Care at The University of Texas at Austin. She is an alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Aminah performed as a company member with Dallas Black Dance Theater, and has performed multiple summers in the Mary Kay Cosmetics Annual Summer Seminar. Aminah has professional credits with The Dallas Opera’s production of Carmen and Hansel and Gretel. You can find her in multiple commercials, notably NBC5 Winter Olympics Texas Connects Us. Aminah is a founding company dancer of contemporary modern dance company, B. MOORE DANCE, and is currently is on faculty with The Joffrey Ballet School’s Texas Training Program. Aminah also serves as dance clinician and choreographer for Frisco High School Theatre.

Suzy Simpson

Advising Director

Suzy Simpson is a life-long dancer and performer who received a Dance Scholarship from the University of North Texas. After earning her B.S. degree in Human Development, with a Minor in Dance from UNT, Suzy pursued graduate studies in Performing Arts Administration at New York University in New York City, where she received unparalleled training at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Education and Stern School of Business. While living in New York City, Suzy trained regularly at Broadway Dance Center, studied with the Martha Graham Dance Company, and enjoyed attending Broadway musicals as much as her schedule would allow. She is a former high school dance/drill team director with over 10 years experience instructing dance camps, judging dance auditions and judging dance competitions. Suzy also serves as dance clinician and choreographer for Frisco High School Theatre.
