What is the minimum age for CAPP?
Our Creative Arts Preschool Program accommodates children ages 2-5.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Potty training is preferred, however, it is common for CAPP students to require pull ups or diapers as they are not quite developmentally ready for full potty training methods. We follow a schedule for daily restroom breaks and diaper/pull up checks, and accommodate restroom breaks/diaper changes as needed throughout the day.
Do you have boys in CAPP?
Yes! We welcome boys and enjoy sharing our love of the arts with them!
What is your curriculum focus?
The Creative Arts Preschool Program offers a unique opportunity for preschoolers to reach important learning targets through an arts infused curriculum one, two or three days a week. Traditional preschool learning targets are reached through structured learning activities, dance and tumbling skills are developed in weekly dance/tumbling classes, and there is ample time for free play and social development, of course!
How much does CAPP cost?
We believe in offering a quality program that capitalizes on the intrinsic benefits of a fine arts education. Since we work within a network of approximately 300 other studio owners affiliated with the More Than Just Great Dancing and YPAD organizations, we are aware of the varied prices of early education programs. Many cost variables do exist in the core goals and priorities of each program. Our goal is to be leaders in the industry for the standards we see as critical to training and nurturing young students.
One of the investments that is most important to us is our investment into our studio culture and providing the attention, nurturing and intentionality that a positive studio culture requires. We have found that our priorities align with our families’ goals as well and that they agree with and recognize the value of our investments.
Since the years of childhood are short, our goal is to use dance as a method of developing core values and important life skills so that the benefits of dance go well beyond the classroom and prepare our students to be happy, healthy, successful adults. These goals, among others, do require resources that we have continued to invest in our students, staff and programs.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes. Siblings have the opportunity to participate in our programs at a discounted tuition rate.
What performance opportunities do you offer CAPP students?
We believe that performance experience is one of the foundational pillars of a well-rounded dance education. CAPP students perform in two annual year-end recital stage productions that include our entire studio: Winter Showcase (December) and Recital (May). Additionally, as a result of our many positive relationships within our community, our students have the opportunity to participate in community performance opportunities throughout the year. For example, our students performed at a local pumpkin patch event, a Chick-Fil-A winter event, the Braswell High School Craft Fair, the Braswell Royals Spring Show, local libraries and more.
What are the other costs associated with CAPP?
Aside from the monthly tuition and seasonal supply cost, dance and acro class attire can be purchased on your own or at the studio. There are costume costs, performance costs, and ticketing associated with our December Winter Showcase and May Recital.
What credentials do your instructors have?
The dance and childcare industries are completely unregulated, which means that anyone can call themselves a dance teacher or early childhood teacher regardless of their level of training, education or certifications. We believe in upholding a higher standard for our staff and only hire instructors with industry credentials and prior experience.
Our CAPP instructors are state certified educators with classroom experience in both public school and in licensed early childcare centers. Our dance and acro staff consists of highly trained Youth Protection Advocates in Dance Certified dance education professionals with a variety of credentials including college degrees in dance, child development, and education, along with teaching certifications through the State of Texas, Progressing Ballet Technique, Adaptive Dance Techniques, Acrobatic Arts, and Youth Protection Advocates in Dance certifications, just to name a few.
All of our staff members are CPR certified, and have passed a national background check.
Can my child try a day before we commit?
Yes! We love to show prospective parents our “home.” It’s best to make an appointment via email or over the phone so that we can give you a proper tour without distraction, and get all your questions answered with minimal interruption. Please call/text 469-202-4581 or email [email protected] to schedule a tour.
What measures do you take to keep my child safe?
The safety of our dance families is our number one priority and we have numerous safety policies that we enforce to keep our studio an emotionally and physically safe place for families. In May 2020, 3-D Dance earned a Safer Studios Certification through More Than Just Great Dancing.
3-D Dance is very serious about upholding Child Protection laws and policies within the studio as well as at public performances and in the online arena (website and social media). We have a number of CCTV cameras / viewing windows / parent viewing sessions within the studio rehearsal space which can be seen by parents and family members from the comfort of our waiting area/viewing room/studios.
As the first Y.P.A.D. (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance) Certified Dance Studio in the state of Texas and one of the first in the country, the 3-D Dance owners and staff at 3-D Dance are educated in the negative impact of inappropriate music and costume selection when it comes to performing dance routines and are wholeheartedly committed to ensuring children in all of our dance routines are not subjected to any inappropriate songs or costuming. We recognize that songs with sexist, explicit, violent, racist, homophobic or criminal content may influence our dancers and/or audience and will strive to avoid using such music. We are committed to restricting costumes that project sexuality, contain explicit graphic or sexual content.
When attending performances, rehearsals, public appearances or recitals / concerts, 3-D Dance staff members, dancers and family members are held to a code of conduct in order represent the studio in a responsible, ethical, enthusiastic and courteous manner.
For the physical and emotional safety of our dancers, their families, our staff and their families, all 3-D Dance staff and enrolled families are held to a high ethical and moral standard regarding Internet profiles. 3-D Dance does not permit families or staff to post negative comments about staff members, dancers, dance parents, dance families, or any other individual associated with 3-D Dance. Posts that are abusive in nature, harassment, inappropriate posts, comments or photographs, any post threatening or damaging to another person, or illegal, are immediate grounds for dismissal from our programs.

Do you follow a dress code?
Yes. Our class attire is simple and cost effective for parents and allows for uniformity and clean, professional classroom look.

We keep our website updated and accurate so that parents can always find answers there. We also communicate often via email, text messages, and reminder signs throughout the studio.
